‘UNRUHE is a group exhibition about the state from which art emerges. Its focus is not the political present but that inner restlessness which often accompanies artistic work for a long time before it becomes visible. Heightened perception, tension, doubt and persistence are not the subject of the art here, but its precondition.

The exhibition brings together artists with whom a personal and artistic exchange has grown over many years. On view are works developed specifically for the show, rarely exhibited pieces, and works that long remained unrealised.’
